Nick Nolan as Nicky Trix

Greatly influenced by the legendary comedians, magicians and ventriloquists of yesteryear, Nicky’s performance pays homage to the Variety Theatre and TV stars of the past, whilst at the same time raising the expectations of a modern day family audience

Nicky has already notched-up over 15 years of professional experience playing to capacity crowds at public events, theatres and pantomimes. Recently he won the “National Entertainment Award For Recognition In Children’s Entertainment, Comedy and Magic”.

He wrote, directed and appeared in his own sell-out one-man show ‘Halloween Howls’ at the Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch, plus on numerous occasions writes performances for the Thameside Theatre Grays and Brentwood Theatre, returning every year for his own sell out solo shows.

He also regularly provides both corporate and family entertainment with his own show at Pontins, Park Dean Resorts and Haven Holiday Parks across the United Kingdom..

Specialising in ventriloquism, stand-up magic and zany physical comedy, he is also expert at accents, character vocals and impressions.

Scott Penrose – Magic advisor and props builder

 

Scott Penrose is regarded as the UK’s finest magic consultant and has designed and built props and illusions, for top West End productions including Andrew Llloyd Webbers Love Never Dies, Cat’s, The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Cirque Du Soleil, Ghost Stories and three Derren Brown tours. In addition, his clients have included major corporations such as BBC TV, Channel 4, London Weekend Television, GlaxoSmithKline and Blockbuster Entertainment.

Phil Fletcher – Puppet Designer and Builder


Phil Fletcher is a British puppeteer. He established his puppet manufacturing and performance company, Gluvets, at the age of 11. After briefly working in manufacturing he found summer work performing in holiday camps and became a full-time puppeteer in 2002. In 2009 he was cast by the BBC as the puppeteer for 
Hacker T. Dog for continuity segments on the CBBC Channel. Fletcher gave Hacker a voice for the first time and the character proved popular, receiving his own 63-episode TV series, Hacker Time, which was nominated for eight BAFTAs. From 2017 Fletcher voiced Sweep in Sooty and from 2021 has appeared as Larry the Lizard on Buffering.
